Wonderfully Woodsy Wedding

Happy New Year!!! Hope everyone had an amazing holiday and New Year's Eve.  This post is inspired by one of my favorite wedding themes; the rustic and woodsy wedding. A woodsy wedding is very organic looking featuring a neutral color pattern with browns and greens, but of course you could add any color! Some things that come to mind when planning a rustic wedding are: baby's breath, birch twigs, cotton, moss, and burlap.

Soundtrack to I Do
This picture is amazing!! I don't know why but it reminds me of Twilight. I love the informality of the benches and the burlap aisle runner. The paper poms look gorgeous hanging down from the trees and they are incredibly easy to make yourself. There is a great tutorial here.

Wildflowers are a beautiful and inexpensive touch. Although- it is illegal to pick wildflowers so you can easily grow them! Just make sure you plan ahead.

Lauryl Lane
Lauryl Lane designed these raw cotton centerpieces. She also did boutonnieres for the groom and groomsmen. This is such a fun and different alternative to flowers.

Barn weddings are so charming. This one mixes a rustic feel with a little bit of glamor.

Anais gown by J.Crew
This J.Crew dress is absolutely perfect for an outdoorsy ceremony. The white lace is draped over a nude silk bodice, giving it an ivory color. It also has a racerback which is very youthful and fun.

  3. You actually make it seem so easy with your presentation but I find this topic to be actually something that I think I would never understand.
It seems too complicated and very broad for me.
I am looking forward for your next post, I'll try to get the hang of it!
